The devastating impacts of Hurricanes Helene and Milton have left deep scars across our community, displacing families, destroying homes, and leaving countless people grappling with loss.
Many of us at TrueFire have felt the effects personally. Several members of our own team have been directly impacted by these storms, losing homes, belongings, and a sense of normalcy. We have seen firsthand the challenges our community faces as it tries to rebuild after such catastrophic events. But in the face of adversity, we’ve also witnessed the strength, kindness, and perseverance that make St. Petersburg such a special place.
As we focus on helping our own team members recover, we also recognize the greater need across our community. The Aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton
Hurricane Helene, a Category 4 storm, swept through the Gulf Coast with intense winds, flooding, and storm surges that devastated communities.
