In its official press release issued today, Yamaha Corporation credited TrueFire Studios’ “platform development and operational expertise” and “educational content library” as foundational elements of the new service. The announcement was made jointly by Yamaha Corporation, Yamaha Music Japan Co., Ltd., and the Yamaha Music Foundation.

Yamaha Music School Online brings Yamaha-certified instructors to students worldwide through two complementary lesson formats: asynchronous chat-based lessons, where students submit practice videos and receive personalized instructor feedback, and live one-on-one video sessions for real-time guidance. The service currently supports piano, acoustic guitar, and electric guitar, and is designed for adult learners at beginner to intermediate levels.
