Do you get the impression that there are millions of scale shapes? Well, there are a lot of them, but with a systematic approach, you will understand how your note choices lay on guitar.

There are five shapes that work for every major and minor key; and by learning them, you can lay a solid foundation toward making the ‘million’ other shapes easier to see. Not only will you see the other scale shapes, but you will be able to see pentatonics and arpeggios within them.

Most importantly, you will learn how to develop your creativity with a structured path. You can even be creative with how you structure your path!

In this video lesson, I give you one of the five starting shapes you can use to play in any key. I will play from this one shape over all the chords in one key.
