BeatBuddy: The First Guitar Pedal Allowing Hands-Free Control of a Beat

We at TrueFire are always looking for ways to help our students. So when we discovered the BeatBuddy, an awesome new guitar pedal that allows guitarists hands-free control of a beat, we felt we had to tell you about it. The BeatBuddy is unlike any other pedal or drum machine in that it allows you to easily insert fills, add accent hits, and transition from verse to chorus. It’s the closest thing to playing with a real drummer!

Accurate timing and a solid sense of rhythm is a requisite for any musician. That’s why we always recommend working with a metronome or a jam track when practicing or jamming by yourself. Of course, metronomes are boring and jam tracks aren’t always available exactly how you would like them, but BeatBuddy is the perfect solution and its a blast to work (and play) with! We’re thrilled to introduce it to you and think you’ll really benefit from practicing with it. It’s a lot of fun, too!

Singular Sound, the company behind the BeatBuddy is running a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise money for the first production run. For a limited time only, supporters can pre-order for $199 and will receive the BeatBuddy in April. Take advantage of this deal now because it won’t be available in retail stores until August, and the full retail price will be $350.
