One Note Samba Jam Track

The Samba is another Brazilian music style that is similar to the Bossa Nova but is played at a faster tempo. In this Blog will concentrate on the Partido Alto which is a sub style in Samba. It is easy to learn and it too has it’s own clave. Along with the video I have attached an mp3 to practice with as well as pdf’s for the chord changes and each rhythm with tab.

Make sure that you go and listen to some Samba recordings. You can start with Trio da Paz, Joao Bosco, Luiz Bonfa and go from there. Enjoy!
