“Open String Rollin'” has some open, ringing Jerry Reed sounding stuff in it. It’s over the A chord, then the D chord, then the E chord and back to the A. It’s pretty straight ahead, and you can use it anywhere, especially in two-beat country songs.

“Calvin’s Fiddle Lick” is named so because I stole it from my buddy Calvin years ago. It’s a great funky, bass note thing that can be used in a 12-bar blues or a boogie-woogie. In this application, we’re going from the I to the IV to V and back to the I at a real quick tempo. See if you can get this one!
