Get gigs!!!! Play in front of people as often as possible. This is where we learn the most about playing. And of course you must practice every day.
3. How long have you been playing and what has been the toughest challenge you’ve faced as a pro guitarist over the years?
I have been playing for 42 years. The toughest challenge is getting work. It is so important to play in front of audiences.
4. Who’s been your biggest influence as a musician? What is the best advice you ever received on your musical journey?
Les Paul. Les always used to tell me, “Play for the people, not for yourself. Play songs and melodies people know.”
